Flash CMS

Introduction

A Flash CMS / Multi-Media Content Management System built from the ground up to manage multi-channel content, including Flash, wireless, kiosks, DVD/CDs, print media and others. Many tools on the market can manage one or two channels, however SlashCMS was designed to be a high-level media independent management system. Based on XML technology, SlashCMS allows marketing organizations to manage many assets using one system.

The system was built from the ground up to manage media independent digital assets. The true power of it is shown when using it to manage something like Flash Assets. Flash Assets are one of the most expensive digital assets for a company to manage. Traditionally modifying a FLASH page involved getting a Flash Software Developer to modify source code to yield the desired results. Using our system, a person with minimal computer experience is able to make complex modifications to a website including changing the navigation, adding and removing content, scheduling changes, publishing, etc. This in essence substantially reduces the costs of managing a Flash website for a Company.

Platform

Our tools are built using robust Microsoft .NET Framework – a proven and stable development framework. Slash products can be deployed independently of each other or together and are tightly integrated with each other which allows for end to end management.

The Slash products can be easly installed on corporate infrastructure or offered as an inexpensive hosted solution (ASP). In addition all our applications feature the following:

• Flexible Application Deployment Platform (FADP). This platform is an Application independent interface which acts as a base layer for all applications. This means that even the most demanding client can built and deploy additional features and applications in a very flexible and cost effectively manner.

• One system - one interface. Our tools are very tightly integrated but they can work on their own. Users use the same intuitive interface for all our applications with a single login.
  
  
• Comprehensive security policy allowing unprecedented levels of access. Administrators can restrict what features users allowed to access, what content they are authorized to create and modify and many other properties.
